Jonathan is a solicitor, specialising in maritime law, and currently works for the London branch of a large Norwegian law firm. Jonathan has around 20 years’ experience of providing strategic and contractual advice to shipowners, banks and other players within the global transport sector. Originally from lower Wharfedale, after almost 15 years living in London, Tokyo and Oslo, Jonathan realised his dream of returning home and now lives in Wensleydale.
A keen fisherman, Jonathan has walked, fished and loved the rivers of the Yorkshire Dales since he was a young boy and joined the Board of Trustees to lend his support to the Trust's goal of conserving and protecting the catchments of the Swale, Wharfe, Nidd, Ure and Ouse.
