With an MSc in Biodiversity and Conservation from the University of Leeds, Sarah has previously worked for the Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and North York Moors National Park Authority, managing and delivering a variety of river conservation and restoration projects, including work to protect freshwater pearl mussels in the River Esk.
As Yorkshire Dales Rivers Trust River Enhancement Project Manager Sarah is working on the iNidd Programme delivering citizen science-based monitoring projects. She also manages the Mid-Swale Tributaries project, developing initiatives to address barriers to fish migration and working alongside farmers to improve water quality and river habitat in the mid-Swale.
In her free time Sarah enjoys hiking , camping, music, and wild swimming.
